Giving patients medications

• Administration of medication
• Checking of Vital sign
• Review of MAR information with medication labels and report any cases of discrepancies
• Physical examination of residents prior medication administration and after, reporting effects and reactions to the Nurse on duty
• Performance of all CNA roles as needed

• Helping patients to bathe and dress
• Serving meals each day and assisting patients with eating as needed
• Taking blood pressure and pulse daily
• Turning and repositioning patients who are in bed all day
• Obtain information about conditions and plans of treatment from health care providers
• Empty and clean bed pans each day
• Help patients get into bed, into wheelchairs and onto examination tables
• Respond to patients when they call
• Check the physical condition of patients each day for bruises, any blood in their urine and feces, and check for other wounds
• Sanitize and clean patients’ rooms and beds
• Change sheets on beds and restock supplies in rooms as needed

• Answering customer questions, providing information, taking and processing orders and addressing complaints
• Answering phone calls and calling customers and vendors to follow up on appointments and deliveries
• Compiling, maintaining and updating company records
• Managing office inventory and working with vendors to ensure the regular supply of office materials
• Setting up appointments, scheduling meetings, distributing reports and managing the correspondence between the office and external bodies
• Compiling and maintaining records of office business transactions
• Operating office equipment including printers, copiers, fax machines and multimedia instruments

• Passes water/ ice to residents
• Answers resident’s call light and alert Certified Nurse assistant or licensed nurse of resident’s request, if it does not involve direct resident care the hospitality aide will provide service
• Assist with meal tray pass provided licensed nurse checked for correct diet
• Assist with feeding residents their meals
• May conduct recreational activities to residents as required
