• Supervised SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) team of 10+ employees to create Instrumentation Database
• Developed and customized engineering templates like Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, and Cable Schedule
• Completed audit of captured data comparing with As-built drawings and with respect to local regulations
• Authored workflow diagrams, guidelines, and instructional manuals for SPI department
• Mentored and trained new SPI engineers. Fully trained 10+ employees

Key achievement:

• Created Instrumentation Index database with total of 110000 tags/devices that serves as one centralized System of Record for all Instrumentation in company. Furthermore, SPI is used for reporting and auditing purposes of compliance for Instrumentation such as explosion protection requirements, material conformity, turnaround preparations, etc.

• Prepared Instrument and Electrical engineering drawings and documents needed for Job Packs completion for Field Wellhead projects.
• Communicated and interfaced frequently with other engineering disciplines to make sure project design is aligned
• Reviewed and commented on other departments' design drawings as well as supplier commercial proposals with related equipment specifications/drawings
• Completed As-Built, project Master drawings upon construction completion
• Conducted site visit trips and prepared site visit reports at beginning of every project

Key achievement:

• Successfully completed engineering of 2 wellhead projects. Which included design of Wellhead, Flowline, Remote Instrument Enclosure, and Instrumentation.

In this Major Capital Project, I was responsible for developing the design and preparation of engineering drawings required for the Gas Injection unit which included:

• Developed CAD Instrument Cable Block, Routing Diagrams, Cable Schedule, and F&G Layouts ensuring that all design complies with Client specifications.
• Created 3d model showing Instrumentation scope in SmartPlant3D application
• Developed SPI Instrument index, Cable, and I/O Schedules, Prepared Wiring, Termination Diagrams, carry out Loop Drawing Creation/Generation
• Participated in Design/Model review sessions with Client

Key achievement:

• Decreased amount of manual work by batch-generating 500+ Loop diagrams and Cable schedules using SPI and CAD features.

• I participated in 18 months internship program. Learned and adapted quickly to new technology and software applications hence was successfully employed after graduation.
