I held an internship with Arisa Community Mental Health. I performed supervised individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation/outreach.   During this time I had an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge, helping skills, and personal/dispositional integration in clinical counseling settings during the Internship experience. During the internship, I was able to treat clients with mental health disorders under the supervision of the clinical director. I met with clients to provide counseling and assist with helping find resources in the community.  Also, I was able to monitor client progress through sessions, monitoring treatment plans, and clinical debriefs with the clinical supervisor.
