  • Directed all activities for two campuses and three satellite locations; all of which are distributed across the US and have a combined 30,000 sq. ft. of training space.
  • Led team and internal instructor pool of 75 subject matter experts to manage on-campus programs and courses held at Academy campuses and satellite locations. Programs consisted of live, instructor-led sessions which offered a collaborative environment that featured activity-based learning to support ongoing educational and development opportunities for 14,000 employees. Annually, hosted 1,500 employees on campus combined with over 50,000 total hours of training via all modalities (in-person, on-line live, on-line self-paced).
  • Obtained and maintained accreditation through the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET) as a means of demonstrating commitment to employee development and training.
  • Led team to design and create educationally accredited curriculum of academic programs that encompassed a wide variety of key disciplines including Operations, Quality, Medical, Safety and Training.
  • Led cross functional teams to create training content and programs for multiple international partners to share educational opportunities that supported global "likeness" for plasma procurement.
  • Defined organizational competencies as a result of needs analysis that resulted in the creation of a multi-level leadership development program. The program supported the growth of three leadership levels within the organization and impacted 12,000 employees.
  • Transformed training and development methodology from in person to distance by designing and implementing an Interactive Distance Learning program to offer live, instructor led, courses to a dispersed work force. Digitalized in-person program content to support self-paced, in place, learning via multiple learning platforms.
  • Co-led the Operations Leadership Team, which was comprised of approximately 20 functional department heads, to develop an integrated approach towards achieving organizational objectives. Developed and implemented strategic plans for the Academy to ensure learning and development goals were aligned with the organizational goals. Created and managed multiple budgets ranging from 3M to 10M, ensuring financial targets were achieved.
  • Led large scale culture change initiative to transition from a top down, command and control culture to one of service and servant leadership.
  • Spearheaded an Academy sponsored scholarship program with Southern New Hampshire University. Responsibilities included recruiting, vetting, tracking, reporting and financials for 30-60 annual scholarships.
  • Managed an articulation agreement with the University of Phoenix (UoP) to allow employees who completed Academy courses to receive credit through the Prior Learning Assessment process (PLA) that count toward their degree with UOP.
  • Functioned as an approved Continuing Education Provider through the California Board of Registered Nurses. This enabled nurses who completed approved Academy coursework to be granted continuing education hours that could be applied to meet requirements for licensure renewal.
  • Actively participated as a Board Member for Grifols Academy of Plasmapheresis Board of Directors.

  • Led cross functional project team to create a new leadership development program to address lack of bench strength needed to support the rapid growth of the organization.
  • The Center Leadership Development Program was designed to be a 5-month training program, where future center leaders gained foundational knowledge of the industry, center operations and the quality management systems required for plasma procurement. This program graduated over 400 leaders from across the US.
  • Led the corporate training team in aligning training strategies across Grifols Plasma Operations which included change management, operational efficiency, divisional alignment to new standardization initiatives.
  • Led cross functional teams that developed and maintained all training programs for three plasma procurement companies within the Grifols Plasma Operations enterprise (300 sites).
  • Managed the configuration, rollout, and training for moving from a manual training methodology to a Learning Management System.
  • Drove instructional design and creation of new training programs to include curriculum delivered via an electronic Learning Management System.
  • Led multiple project teams comprised of cross functional members from other departments within the organization.
