  • Manages budgets for three divisions effectively to ensure optimal use of resources while maintaining financial stability.
  • Develops policies, procedures, training resources and and curriculum in alignment with industry standards and evidenced-based best practices for community supervision.
  • Facilitate discussions through Leon LEADS with criminal justice stakeholders, community partners, and citizens to receive feedback to identify changing consumer needs, identify and evaluate solutions, and develop implementation strategies.
  • Develop agendas, meeting minutes, monthly statistical reports, presentations for the Public Safety Coordinating Council consisting of a diverse membership of constitutional officers, Department of Corrections, and community partners in accordance with F.S. 951.26 for development of policy recommendations.
  • Research and prepare agenda items on diverse topics related to the criminal justice field, offender reentry, homelessness, etc. Agenda items are reviewed by or presented to the Board of County Commissioners at monthly meetings or Workshops.
  • Establish department performance measures to align with the County's vision, strategic priorities, and department mission.
  • Compile statistical data to develop and report annual performance estimates to the Office of Management Budget as part of the budget process and report data and analysis to support the department meeting or exceeding established performance measures.
  • Work closely with organizational leadership throughout multiple stakeholder agencies across many aspects of the criminal justice eco-system to guide operational strategy.
  • Facilitated cross-functional collaboration for improved decision-making processes within the organization.
  • Improved project efficiency with strategic planning, resource allocation, and time management practices.
