  In order to help maintain the social enterprise of The Worthy Co, founded to provide jobs to women from The Net, I assisted the communications team with various projects and gained hands-on experience in nonprofit communications.

A 10-week program of clinical rotations in labor and delivery, neurosurgery, emergency department, and acute medical units where students work closely with an RN preceptor. Students are able to provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. Nursing students are given an immersion experience to supplement their formal education, but the focus of the program is to prepare and match the internship candidate with a nursing unit.
