  • Served as school liaison between classroom teachers, students, district level administration and the state Law of Life coordinator.
  • The Law of Life Essay Contest is sponsored by the state of Georgia Rotary Clubs and is utilized to encourage students to developed resilience through difficult times.
  • Students can express themselves through writing and then present their speeches to a group of local Rotarians and School Administration and guest each spring.
  • THS has been involved in this process for the past twenty years.
  • Participation is voluntary; however, admission is based on enrollment per grade level and THS is required to maintain a percentage.
  • In conjunction with THS and Law of Life, I personally have uploaded approximately 300 essays for evaluation into the contest.
  • I personally began the process of framing the certificates and presenting those to THS grade level winners and honorable mentions out of pocket as this had not been done.
  • The Rotarian Club presents the grade level winners with additional memorabilia and monetary gifts upon the Spring Luncheon.
