  • It was my responsibility to get the guys down to the levels they were working on.
  • Taking and removing supplies as needed to all of the levels and stations.
  • Once a week I moved down powder and put it away.
  • Operating the man trains to get guys and supplies where they were needed.
  • Practicing safety procedures at all times.
  • Removing the muck and waste from any and all available pockets to the surface so it could go to the mill.
  • Breaking the rock in the grizzlies if the guys were too busy to do so.
  • Problem solving any too large rocks, metal, or wood etc. that would get stuck in the gates in the pockets where I pulled the muck and doing so without loosing production.
  • Blasting any obstacles from those same gates or pockets.

  • I was responsible for paying attention to where everyone was at all times and bringing all the guys up safely at the end of their shifts as well.
