Care of children with tracheostomies, vents, mickey/g-buttons, TPN, cerebral palsy, seizure activity, etc in their homes. Assess client start of shift from head to toe, including vital signs. Record and document accurately every two hours. Monitor clients condition consistently. Administer medications according to MAR. Assist clients with IV therapy, cough assist, chest vest percussion therapy and suctioning. Perform trach care daily and change trach as needed. Worked with LTV 1150 and Trilogy 100 vents. Perform vent circuit changes as needed. Perform daily g-button care. Worked with feeding pumps for enteral nutrition. Offer immediate assistance in emergency situations. Report to registered nurse.
