Initiate Hemodialysis treatment to a hemodialysis patient in the hospital setting. Prepare HD machine ,assess patient, cannulate access, connect patient to the dialysis machine, monitor vital signs before , during and after treatment ,observe patient during treatment, administer medications and blood transfusion if ordered , attend complications , communicate with patient and personnel regarding treatment plans. Check Lab results and call doctor for orders.

After treatment , return blood to patient, document vital signs, give report to floor nurse , document to chart. Clean and disinfect machine.

Initiate Hemodialysis treatment to patients as scheduled in different hospitals like Straub Hosp.,Pali Momi Medical Center, Castle Hospital, Wahiawa Hospital Kapiolani Medical Center.

Charge nurse- schedule patients and staff according to their assignments.

Work as assistant to the clinic Manager, Supervise 48 staff in patient care and in following up laboratory results. Assist staff in implementing rules and policies as recommended. Support the staff in following up patients problems. Implement safety to meet standards required by OSHA.Make schedules of staff and patients treatment schedules. Conduct meetings, prepare reports during CQI and suggest recommendations. Listen to issues and problems and contribute to recommendations.

Insert big needle to vein , Fill up blood bag up to desired weight spin blood. Plasma separated from RBC by the lab then transfuse RBC back to the right patient.
