Cover Letter

October 25, 2017, Southwest Healthcare Service, 802 2nd St NW, Bowman, ND, 58623, I am writing regarding the Activity Aid position available within Southwest Healthcare. I heard of the position through a post on Facebook. I am a highly-qualified teacher, licensed to teach children in the state of North Dakota from Birth to Grade 3, with an emphasis in Preprimary and Social Studies. I also have my Kindergarten Endorsement. My last contracted position involved teaching Preschool/1st Grade and Music at Marmarth Public School. My position was eliminated due to budget constraints. As a versatile teacher, I have developed an energetic teaching style. My daily routines are organized and student based, allowing for creativity and exploration. Along with being well-prepared, one of my assets in teaching is my classroom management style. I encourage students to succeed and make choices that enhance life both academically and socially. My compassion and dedication to children and families in our community is a top priority. I do feel my experience as a teacher would coincide with this position within the Southwest Healthcare facility. Thank you for your time and for considering me for the position. Please feel free to contact me by telephone or email. I hope to hear from you soon. Sincerely, Teri L. Bergquist
