Volunteer Work
Lake Pointe Bible Church

I have volunteered and still volunteer in multiple areas at our church.
MOPs program (Mothers of Preschoolers) I was in the hospitality team. I was assigned a specific table and group of ladies for the year. I had to facilitate discussions with the ladies at our table.
I taught Sunday school to two and three-year-olds. I was given a certain lesson each week and would find different crafts to help reinforce the lesson.
I taught preschoolers at our VBS summer program for two years. It was just one week out of the summer, I was provided the lessons, but wouldn’t incorporate different crafts, snacks, and interactive ways to help teach and reinforce the lessons.
I work in the nursery on some Sundays.
I’m on a serving team at church for a few times a year, we provide food for different events as well as set up and cleanup before and after the events.
I’ve been a middle school youth group leader where I was working with six, seventh and eighth graders.
I’ve been a high school youth group leader working with ninth, 10th, 11th and 12th grade kids.
I have worked with the AWANA program at our church for the past 14 years. It’s our kids program for preschool through sixth graders that meets once a week. I’ve worked in multiple areas, including being code Director for five years with my husband.
