I am a 21-year-old with dual citizenship from Monterey, California, and Yokohama, Japan. I have a passion for cooking, which I’ve pursued for over five years, sharing over 100 of my creations on Instagram. Three years ago, I came to the U.S. to study at college, where I majored in Communication and worked as a Japanese tutor for two years. I took a gap year after graduation. And I want to go out into the world for 2 years and make a living on my own. I want to challenge various things. I am excited to meet new people in San Francisco and Daly City and am eager to apply my skills and experiences in a part-time position.
• I cultivated effective communication skills by interacting with students from different backgrounds. In particular, I have made efforts to develop a deeper understanding across language barriers.
• I supported the students' desire to learn Japanese and guided them with my passion for education. I enjoyed watching students grow and helping them achieve their goals.
• As a helper in my friend's restaurant, it was my first experience in the kitchen and I learned the tension and gratification of serving products to customers.
• My main tasks were to set up the stall, carry the luggage, manage the ingredients, and later grill, cut, and serve 5.6 menu items at the same time with my colleagues.
• The menu items I was responsible for included Spam, chicken bowl, beef bowl, vegetable bowl, salmon bowl, and sushi rolls.
• It was a food stall, We prepared, grilled, and served the food after setting up.
