Ignite Education Solutions is hiring for Substitute Teachers. A Substitute Teacher is responsible for the care and education of a group of children as part of a teaching team and functions as a substitute in the absence of the regular teacher in the classroom. A Substitute Teacher carries out a program of study prescribed in the lesson plans left by the classroom teacher whenever they are available. Candidate will create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students. Subs guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and objectives as indicated in the lesson plans for the lessons, units, or projects assigned. Substitute Teacher supervises all activities to ensure safety at all times and maintains a neat and orderly classroom. Maintains a professional attitude and loyalty to the organization at all times.

A Substitute Teacher is required to posses a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR Teaching Certificate or Emergency Certification. A Mandated Reporter Certificate is also required for this position. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written and a high degree of flexibility and receptive to change. Three appropriate and current clearances, physical, and TB test are required to be considered for this position.
