This position is administrative in nature, within an insurance company, and is not a direct care position.

• Review and process medication Prior Authorization Requests (PARs)appropriately in multiple different systems
• Determine casual relation to claim based off investigation of claimants chart
• Review Medical Treatment Guidelines to determine appropriateness
• Obtain and review medical records and treatment plans as necessary
• Maintain all necessary records of claimants' conditions and/or administered treatments
• Written and verbal communications with various stakeholders including claimants, attorneys, pharmacies and providers
• Navigate various systems and applications to access and interpret information, update records, create documents, prepare reports and research and enter data

• Collect patient data, such as vital signs and effectively enter data into database in compliance with organizational and regulatory guidelines
• Collaberate with multidisciplinary team of nurses, doctors and CNA's to assess patient status and appropriately present patient information in different formats based on stakeholders needs
• Administer scheduled medications and therapies orally, topically, subcutaneously and enterally via G-tube efficiently and promptly
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on urgency and deadline, able to delegate tasks to ensure all jobs are completed on time to a high standard
• Excellent ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and healthcare team members, both verbally and in writing
• Analyze patient data, identify problems and make sound clinical judgements

• Verified, updated and entered patient information into system
• Demonstrated proficiencies in telephone, email, fax and walkins in a high volume environment
• Reviewed patient treatment plan and discussed financial arrangements with patient
• Meticulously performed skin testing and administered allergy shots in a fast paced, high risk setting
• Mastered multiple software programs including Microsoft teams, EPIC, EHR/EMR, Medical Database Software and Word
