  • I worked with the Tax Exempt and Government Entities recruitment team in Human Resources Customer Support 2 where I research college fairs in Handshake utilizing my analytical and evaluative methods and techniques.
  • I use my decision-making skills to search for career fairs targeting accounting majors to fill our positions needed.
  • Once all the fairs have been identified and we reach the goal number of fairs for the month, I will register for all the fairs in Handshake.
  • When the registration is approved, and I receive an invoice for the fairs I will forward the invoice on to be paid by our purchase card holder.
  • Handshake will send me all logistics to all the fairs, and I will forward them to the recruiters who are attending the fairs.
  • All of this information is kept on a recruitment spreadsheet utilizing quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques.
  • I update this spreadsheet daily with college fair locations, date and time, how much the fair costs from a budget standpoint, the recruiter attending this fair and how many students came to the table.
  • Using my analytical and evaluative skills I noticed a trend related to the type of college students attending our fairs and I adjusted the handouts appropriately.
  • This spreadsheet is reviewed and approved by my manager and then sent out to all the Project Management Office’s to recruit recruiters to attend these fairs.
  • Recruiting in general is very fast paced and requires a lot of planning and organization.
  • I prepare recommendations for resources to accomplish the project by informing the purchase card holder that we need more brochures and swag items for the career fairs.
  • When we are running low on tablecloths, I negotiate with Human Capital Office to obtain needed resources.
  • I also negotiate with the area Project Management Office’s to obtain needed support when recruiters back out of fairs and resources are needed.
  • I made a suggestion to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations related to having local recruiters attend career fairs as from a budgeting standpoint the cost of travel was outweighing the benefit.
  • Having local recruiters attend was a cost savings and improved the operation. My suggestion was adopted.
  • One of my project areas has to do with analyzing the proper routing paths in Concur.
  • I utilized my evaluative methods and techniques to identity problem areas where employees who were either in the wrong accounting path or needed to be removed.
  • This was affecting operations as employees were traveling using the incorrect routing numbers impacting budgets.
  • I am the back up to the TE/GE Telework Lead.
  • I input Telework agreements into the Telework Library Portal.
  • I run various reports from People Track present them and my findings to the Telework Lead who in turn sends emails to the business units PMO offices asking them to make corrections to their employees telework agreements.
