This role reinforces there surgical tech education and transitions them into full time surgical tech roles upon graduation. I also work as a lead for the case pullers and assist with supply chain issues

Current Role
- I currently am working with the education team to assist in education of new nurses and surgical technicians. I also have implemented a formal orientation program for the medical students rotating through surgery. I also created a simulation lab in the OR for a resident sim lab that I also teach every 2nd Wednesday of the month. We do hands on instrumentation classes I also travel with the trauma team to do Rural Trauma Hospital Classes we teach rural hospitals how to handle trauma until it can be transferred to UMC.
