• A physician-directed occupational healthcare provider working with employers to reduce workers’ compensation claim rates, identifying and resolving exposure hazards and developing programs to drive employee wellbeing, regulatory compliance and business goals. Contracted to XCEL Energy, primary accountabilities include:
• Responding to workplace accidents and incidents; providing onsite case management of work-related injuries and illness.

• With hospitals and facilities throughout Colorado, a non-profit health care system; ranked as one of the top hospital networks in the United States. Providing overall leadership of health care services delivered to employees, physicians and volunteers, I successfully:
• Spearheaded a wide-range of services to employees, physicians, and volunteers spanning more than 100 facilities within and outside of Colorado.
• Oversaw work-related injury and illness case management and preventative care initiatives, OSHA Compliance; and Leave of Absence program ensuring compliance to FMLA requirements.
• Managed end-to-end health delivery of Workers’ Compensation case management.
• Directed the employee influenza program; implementing a network wide mandatory flu program and TB prevention initiative.
• Prepared and managed departmental budgets; reviewing spending and variances.
• Designed and monitored the Injury Management and Prevention program while providing leadership to various health and safety committees.
• Collaborated with internal functions including Environmental Health and Safety, Human Resources, and Infection Control to align health management delivery.

• Managing 11 medical departments with 35 employees and 15 physicians, I:
• Maintained responsibility for daily operations of these overseeing staffing levels and coordinating physician schedules and patient appointments.
• Managed Human Resource functions including screening, recruitment, performance measurement and employee exits.
• Liaised with Executive Director to develop staff standards, policies and procedures
• Ensured stellar patient care delivery to promote quality customer service.
• Served as OSHA Officer to assess and optimize Worker’s Compensation policies and GMC Worker’s Compensation and Safety Programs, while participating as member of the Safety Committee to fully integrate OSHA within the Safety Program.
