Additional Information

Able to return back to school after my daughter graduated from high school. Future plans include BSN and Nursing Informatics.

I have a passion for healthcare and have found great satisfaction with remote medical management of patients. My successful military career has taught me how to be a leader and a mentor. My interactions with military members and civilian patients taught me how to communicate effectively using common language with a focus on medical details and data. I have had opportunities to engage successfully with peers, providers, Wisconsin County Health Departments, Wisconsin DHS, FEMA, Defense Health Agency, and CDC.

My background includes working remotely which was enhanced with computer platform navigation skills. I developed skills to explain medical situations to patients and family members using plain language. This is followed up with open questions to confirm their understanding.
