Skills

Good Classroom Management: Keeping my students engaged by following the guidelines and expectations

Lesson planning: Planning according to the curriculum and making sure that there are activity worksheets to go along with the implementation of the lesson

Thinking outside of the box in lesson planning: Taking a lesson plan and elaborating it further than what the curriculum is asking Being able to create a lesson plan at a moment's notice keeps students engaged

Creating activity worksheets to coincide with lessons that are planned:

Coming up with a lesson at a moment's notice and creating an activity to go along with that lesson

Sewing, Cooking, Art and crafts

I learned to sew from my mother.  I make all of my window dressing and bed covers and some clothes.  Cooking is something I enjoy doing as I was raising my 11 foster children we would get into the kitchen and I would teach them about preparing meals.  Food brings the family together and helps us work as a team.  Art and crafts were done with my children when they were decorating their rooms
