  • Charge Capture Project - Created a project based off of A3 – Increase charging of products used in patient care and decrease lost revenue from chargeable products (Starting state 33% with a revenue variance of $100,00 – Current state 95% with a revenue variance of $32,000)
  • Product Standardization Project - Create product standardization Excel workbook for 11 Spectrum Health Emergency Departments. Allows for increased patient satisfaction and utilizing best practice in continuing patient care - Excel Workbook created to define products, par, and usage of each product in each department - Bi-weekly meetings with stakeholders to determine what products are to be used in all emergency departments - Bi-weekly reports sent to all stakeholders citing products to removed, added, kept and revenue variances from changes
  • Set cost saving schedule by evaluating product usage bi-monthly. This scheduled allowed for a significant decrease in revenue spent and decreased overstock of product
