• Manage an average inventory of $12,000,000 of couture inventory (13,000 SKUS) for two sister web sites (AVELLE.com and BBOSPrivateSale.com). Responsible for receiving, inventory control (physical and cycle counts), shipping, returns and refurbishment for both sites. Introduced flexible scheduling to maintain profitable production standards while meeting on time shipping schedules for optimum customer satisfaction.
• Collaborated with Director of Operations to identify and launch refurbishment business. Assisted in hiring 5 artists who clean, repair and hand paint handbags. New initiative is generating $120,000+ in revenue a year. Reduced loss due to damaged product by 80%. Worked with director to reallocate staff from other areas in warehouse to handle demand without increasing overall headcount.
• Developed loss prevention initiative. Policed warehouse to control internal loss and worked with customer service to identify and reduce customer fraud. By elevating awareness and developing incentives to keep everyone aware, we virtually eliminated internal loss and cut customer fraud in half.
