  • As owner, host and producer of That’s Not Metal, my job was to build the brand from scratch. Online advertising, producing and scripting the show that became the UK's Number One Rock and Metal podcast.
  • The 5 Star Rated podcast debuted at #1 on the iTunes Music Podcast chart and at #11 in the main iTunes podcast chart, has received critical acclaim in the press
  • That’s Not Metal had 30,000 global weekly listeners. It has been sponsored by the likes of Universal Music, Marshall Amps and one of the biggest online music and pop-culture retailers in Europe, EMP.

  • Day-to-day management of the SKY, UK television station, Scuzz TV. Playlists, competitions, scripts, original shows, sponsorship deals, and producing content for the world via YouTube,
  • The UK’s premiere rock TV channel, I created and hosted their first original content series, ‘Scuzz Meets’, interviewing some of the biggest names in music including Aerosmith, Slipknot, Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, Deftones, Linkin Park, Machine Head, Fall Out Boy, Paramore and many more
  • I created a bespoke TV show for Live Nation’s biggest UK rock an metal festival, Download.
  • The series saw the highest engagement of any program on the channel and reached an average of between 1.5 and 2 million viewers every week, as well as the 90,000 people at the festivals when our backstage interviews were aired live on the festival screens

  • Rock Sound, I was the key contact for all features and news sections, dealing with record label PR teams and independent publicists to ensure the best editorial content filled the magazine each month
  • I was also responsible for sub-editing all pages to meet monthly deadlines as well as writing features and reviews for the magazine
  • During my tenure we redesigned the look and feel of the magazine to cater to a changing demographic, leading to my being part of the first team to see a rise in the magazine’s ABC sales figures.

  • During my tenure as Head Of Online Strategy at Metal Hammer magazine, I was tasked with re-launching the magazine’s website
  • Under my guidance, the site consistently over-achieved on engagement, often achieving 100% over the targets set
  • I also launched the social media pages which now have a combined following of over 3,000,000 fans and I founded, produced and hosted the hugely popular Metal Hammer Podcast
  • I also regularly contributed to editorial pages in the magazine, writing cover features, doing countless interviews and contributing reviews.
