• Performs complete medical forensic examinations on adult and pediatric victims of physical abuse/assault, neglect, and sexual assault
• This includes history, head-to-toe assessment, anogenital assessment and evidence, specimen collection and photographs
• Identifies, collects, preserves, packages, and secures evidence while maintaining chain of custody procedures
• Provides medical advice and testimony in legal proceedings
• Provides emotional support and counseling to victims and their families

• Manage and direct programmatic oversight for the day-to-day operations of the county 911 Communications Center, Emergency Management, the Emergency Medical Services & Fire Training Academy, Weights & Measures, Employee Health & Safety and the County Health Department
