I was awarded a Company award. Steve Marshall was a Pastor at New Begginings Church. He found out he had Termal Cancer. Instead of being in poor spirits he used his termal caner as way to share the Good News. Further more displayed great Character in an hour when most wouldn't. Through the last year of his life Mr. Marshall used his public speaking skills to share his Servant Leadership wisdom with several companies that held annual Leadership Events/Summits . Upon his passing Progressive Foam Technologies honered him and made " The Steve Marshall Award for Character." Its where employees through-out the year nominate other employees who display outstanding character in times of stressful or frustrating operations. In 1 year I got nominated 3x. Twice for rising to the needs of others as well as the companies during times of stressful operarions. Upper Management nominated me for my all around professional example and thoroughness. My Leadership nominated me for my CAN DO ATTITUDE. When it came to downtime or the team was struggling during purduction, my thing was jumping in to help while being uplifting and encouraging.
