I currently work in the repair department for the public works water repair. Im tasked each day with repairing water mains as they brake causing leaks. I also operate dump trucks, excavators, skid steers, and other heavy equipment. I also obtained my class A CDL license that allows me to operate heavy vehicles containing heavy loads.

During my time with this company I was promoted very fast to the roll of crew leader. I was put in charge of other employees making sure they completed task assigned to them. I also assisted the citizens of the community with directions, information on street closings, and took complaints for the citizens and relayed them to proper chain of command. I assisted the range master during qualifying time each year with assisting other officers get better with qualifying their service weapons.

During my time with the department I was tasked with the responsibility of training with a K9. I was sent to several training classes to certify with the k9. This training included but was not limited to, Drug searching, tracking, article searches, and vehicle/structure searches. I was tasked with patrolling the city in the higher drug areas along with the major highways in and around the city. I worked with other local agencies such as the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, Wake Forest Police Department, and other agencies surrounding Franklinton, utilizing the k9 as needed. I also was involved with the department's Special Response Team utilizing the k9 during search warrants. I worked close with the local schools in the area conducting locker and vehicle checks with the k9 searching for weapons and narcotics.

During my time with Wake Med I was tasked with making sure the hospital staff was safe as they provided the care patients needed I was a member of the departments special response team as a marksman. I dealt with patients that had special needs and was tasked with de-escalating situations that arose. I completed reports, and assisted other officers with incidents and situations that they were a part of. I also assisted the lieutenant with his task as needed.

I worked close with other agencies in the state conducting speed enforcement campaigns, Traffic safety demonstrations where we provided citizens with tips and information on safe driving tips. I was involved with search warrants, and apprehension of violent criminals. I attended court to testify in the cases I had dealings with. and patrolled the city of Franklinton protecting and serving the lives and properties in the area.
