Skills

  • Relationship building
  • Strategic planning
  • Verbal and written communication
  • Decision-making

Accomplishments

  • Successfully assembled a team of qualified employees when tasked with establishing a regional office in the Caribbean
  • When the Europe Area of the Church was divided, gained approval to locate a new Area in France. With management team, successfully identified an office building and eight expatriate homes for the Area Presidency and key department managers. Office and homes required furnishings and equipment. In a short timeframe, brought to this remote area of France around 40 qualified employees from many locations around Europe, the US and Canada. In a period of about three months, the new Area administration office was functioning as expected.
  • When the Chile Area of the Church was consolidated with the South America South Area, tasked with reducing administrative headcount by about 15%. Successfully arranged buyouts and outplacement assistance for a significant number of employees. Established a new management team consisting of personnel from both former Areas, a real challenge considering that the Chile payscale was 40% higher than that of Argentina where the consolidated Area was to be located.
