Retired Military Veteran with Special Access Program (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Collateral classified program experience with a diverse customer base including the Intelligence Community/Department of Defense (Air Force, Navy, DARPA, and Army). Holds a Top Secret Security Clearance with Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) and Special Access Required (SAR) access.
Responsible for the security management of several classified contracts as the Contractor Security Officer or Contractor Program Security Officer. Coordinated security activities and requirements with other government contractors as the prime and as a subcontractor.
Apply a working knowledge of the NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives, JAFAN’s, DoD Manuals and Directives, security policy manuals, standard operating procedures related to industrial, personnel, physical, information and operational security.

Conducted alarm maintenance programs and testing. Changed XO-9 spin dial and S&G lock combinations on vault doors and General Service Administration approved safes.

Performs Indoctrinations/Debriefings, maintains personnel security files, reviews contract security documentation, including DD 254’s.
Process Foreign Travel submissions and liaison with the shared service center and customers ensuring all pre/post travel requirements are met.

Managed and maintained a $7.2 million-dollar budget ensured completeness, accuracy, and conformance with fiscal procedures. Performed cost-benefit analysis to compare operating programs, review financial request, and /or explore alternative financing methods. Manage a travel card program for 335 personnel ensuring a zero-delinquency rate.
Oversaw and administered Navy-wide Advancement Exams, urinalysis programs, employee performance awards/recognition programs, and employee disciplinary review.
Revamped the organizational correspondence routing and tracking procedures, bolstering efficiency; created an unprecedented atmosphere of cooperation amongst junior personnel and senior leaders.
Mentored and trained more than 200 junior personnel over 5 years and ensured they were provided annual performance evaluations, counseling, and mentorship for development and promotion.

Facilitated SCI, NACO, and SAP indoctrinations and debriefs. Generated, processed, and tracked Security Access Eligibility Reports.
Monitored security policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies and applicable government security requirements, policies, and directives.
Submitted over 1,000 clearance request in JPAS and initiated over 500 investigations/reinvestigations in Eqip.
Conducted research, complied data, and prepared reports for consideration and presentation by executives, committees, and boards of governors; enhanced informed decision making for personnel training, recruitment and transfer.
Read and analyzed incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution; resulted in a 30% increase in response to incoming correspondence.
Supervised and trained 45 staff members and arranged for employee training by scheduling training and or organizing training material; ensured 100% compliance with higher headquarters’ policies.
