Job Title: Woodson County Clerk
Overview:
The Woodson County Clerk plays a pivotal role in managing county operations, ensuring the smooth execution of elections, overseeing human resources, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Election Management: Oversee and conduct county elections, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Human Resources: Serve as the Human Resource Director, managing employee records, benefits, and personnel issues.
- Commissioner Support: Record and maintain minutes for county commissioner meetings, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Financial Management: Handle all accounts payable and payroll processes, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
- Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and management of the county budget, working closely with county officials to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Auditing: Collaborate with auditors annually to review financial records and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- IT Coordination: Work with CIC programming and other IT services to maintain and improve county systems.
