• Students were required to select a film with a character struggling with a substance use disorder. Students needed to refer to the DSM-5 Substance Use Criteria and discuss the character's proposed diagnosis by supporting how the character met each selected criteria, the ASAM placement associated with the character, and the proposed treatment plan. (A GOOD PERSON)
• Students were expected to create an assessment report of two clients struggling with drug use and justify the reasoning behind a diagnosis, ASAM placement, and recommended treatment while referring to the DSM-5 Substance Use Criterion. (Assessment Report 1&2)

• Students were required to create two hypothetical "cases" describing clients, the issue at hand, and their lifestyle. In describing these clients, students must include an "intervention plan" for each. These intervention plans must mention specific points of action a client could implement and an explanation as to how these points could benefit the client, supplying sufficient evidence through knowledge of psychology and counseling techniques/perspectives.
