I bring over 15 years of experience in education, including 11 years as a full-time high school mathematics teacher and 4 years as a part-time math instructor . I hold a valid Texas teaching certificate for grades 7–12 Mathematics, a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, and a Master’s degree in Computer Science. My background has provided me with a strong foundation not only in delivering rigorous academic instruction but also in mentoring students as they prepare for college and future careers.
Throughout my career, I have consistently focused on creating supportive, engaging, and high-achievement learning environments. I’ve worked closely with diverse student populations to help them reach their full potential—both academically and personally—while also collaborating with families and school teams to ensure a holistic approach to student success.
Having taught at the School of Science and Technology (SST), I am deeply familiar with the student body, community values, and expectations that define the SST culture. I am honored to contribute to this mission-driven environment and genuinely enjoy being part of a team that places student growth and equity at the center. My professional experience, combined with my passion for education, make me a strong fit for this role and a dedicated advocate for students and their futures.
