Summary

I began my first experience teaching during high school course when I participated in a preschool class. During this experience we designed lessons, taught, implemented classroom management, built relationships with students, and implemented classroom management strategies. From this moment on I knew I was meant to be in the education field. Moving forward, I attended Illinois State University majoring in Early Childhood Education. Since entering the university in this field I have had experience implementing lessons and management strategies in preschool, kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. From the moment I entered the classroom I felt as it was my duty in life to teach and create an environment that is culturally inclusive, engaging, warm, and welcoming to support all learning styles and backgrounds in order to foster an effective and meaningful learning experience.
