I'm a recent accounting graduate and current M.S. in Accounting candidate at the University of Virginia. I've completed two summer internships at KPMG — most recently in tax, and previously through the Embark Scholars Program. While I initially planned to pursue the CPA path, I've since realized that my strengths align more closely with data driven, problem-solving environments that demand creativity, adaptability, and technical fluency.
I'm drawn to tools like Excel, Power BI, and Python because they offer a hands-on, dynamic approach to solving real business problems. I enjoy building and refining systems, creating and evaluating different solutions to a challenge, and improving how work gets done. My background in accounting gives me a strong foundation in financial logic and business operations. I see it as the structure behind how businesses function, but I'm most energized by work that pushes me to think forward, not just follow rules.
