  • When I was pricing items, we had to make sure the correct price and company appeared on the right sticker before we labeled the items.
  • I also had to pack product in the correct box before it could go down the line.
  • It wasn’t long before I started to perform as a lead.
  • I basically learned how to do everything in my department before I did lead duties.

  • Packing product, picking and scanning/shipping out product.
  • I started as a packer which I had to pack items in boxes with paper so the product wouldn’t be damaged before it got to its company.
  • Then I went to being a scanner which contain scanning product, but you had to make sure it was the correct item before you scanned it and sent it down the line to your packer.
  • Far as the picking went, I had to learn how to pick just in case my department had to help the pickers pick and which we did.

  • I was an Inventory Clerk at this company.
  • I basically perform inventory on the computer.
  • I had three different labs who I had to transfer different adapters through the system.
  • I had to make sure I transferred the correct adapters in the system as the same amount I took in the lab by hand.
  • At the end of the quarter, us as an inventory crew had to do cycle counts also.

  • At this company called Jimco I had to stack product, put stickers on product and run my own line of people.
  • Before we stacked product, we had to make sure it was the correct product and make sure the right company was receiving the right items they ordered.
  • I drove the Electric Pallet Jack when needed.
  • We also had to put the right price on the product that it was worth by our price sheet.
  • By then I had upgraded to getting my own line of people.
  • I became a captain and I had to make sure my team was performing they duties correctly.

  • I had to match the product with the correct shipping paper before I shipped it out to the costumer.
  • All we did was scan the product and shipped it out to which costumer ordered it.

P.I.T. Worker

  • When I was working for this company such as XPO Verizon, I was in a department called P.I.T.
  • Basically my job duties was to put the correct paper work with its order and take it to the pickers so that they can pick the orders.
  • Also when my department ran low on work, our supervisor sent us to help other departments such as picking, receiving and shipping.

  • The time I was working at this company called Synnex, I was in a department called Inventory.
  • Working in this department, you had to know how to count.
  • If workers from another department such as receiving, shipping or LTL mess up the counts containing to the product, we as an Inventory crew had to go behind them and correct the problem.
  • When I was here, I drove the Order Picker sometimes.
  • We also had to do our own daily 10 Day Counts before we can go home at our normal work hours.

  • I’ve been full-time with the company about five years now.
  • I started as a picker driving a pallet jack picking bulk orders.
  • As years progress, I then became a lead over a department called 'Export' which I’m currently still the lead over.
  • Export is the top and most expensive department in our building.
  • I don’t only keep my department flowing, I also help keep a department called 'LTL' running as well.
  • LTL is basically where you load FedEx, SAIA and Export freight.
  • I know just about 95% of my building when it comes to my work.
  • My management team is now preparing me to become a Supervisor.
  • I am important to this company and play a major role in this building.
