I have been a lifelong painter and artist. My family, particularly my grandfather, was a career artist, a painter of watercolor landscapes and portraits in the Pacific Islands of Polynesia and California in the 1930s and 1940s. I have continued this legacy of art by studying fine arts and film making in college and in my private study at home. My paintings include watercolor, acrylic and oil, pastel and pencil. I received a degree in cinema and film production from San Francisco State university in 1996, where I also received my teaching credential at the same time.
I have also enjoyed model building and rocketry throughout much of my life. As a school teacher I have offered student to join in and learn about model building and model rocketry through club activities! I absolutely love passing on the enthusiasm for model building and rocket science to young hobbyists.
