Administered prescribed medications, IV fluid, monitored patient's vital signs.

Monitored fetal heart tone, detected and reported any abnormalities to the delivery team, the laborist, and the physician on duty.

Provided pre-, intra-, post-op care to patients undergoing C-section

Catched babies, performed head to toes assessment, administered medications, detected any abnormalities and reported to NICU.

Documented on Cerner, Epic, Meditech.

Responded to emergency situations such as pre-eclampsia, early labor, and fetal distress.

Performed cervical exam, trial push.

Helped patients with breastfeeding, pumping.

Ensured adherence to all hospital protocols when administering medications for pain relief, induction of labor, or other necessary interventions.

Developed strong rapport between patient families by being attentive listener, providing emotional support throughout hospital stay.

Transferred to Labor and Delivery unit.

Responsible for four couplets during 12-hour shift.

Educated families on newborn care and the maternal healing process.
