Catered to individual needs from guests in Conference groups staying in the CSUN University Park Apartments over the summer.
Prepared units for incoming guests—created door tags with individual guest names, cleaned bathrooms and bedrooms. Prepped pillows, linen packets, toilet paper, soap, etc. for guests and picked up laundry and other trash after their departure to repeat the cycle for the next group.
Followed daily cleaning schedule both in the Conferences office as well as in dorm units.
Reported damages, maintenance problems, safety issues, and potential hazards to supervisor, lead, and/or Operations team.
Responded to guests' questions and resolved complaints to increase satisfaction during the day.
Performed a weekly "duty walk" at 10 PM on Thursdays to ensure guests were following quiet hour policies and check for any unlocked doors to secure safety for the night. Answered the duty phone between 8pm-8am for any questions or concerns that may have presented themselves throughout the night.
Communicated with guests to make sure they had key cards on them at all times, made new keys if lost, and walked them through the key card return process at the end of their stay.
