As Swinerton's first Emerging Technology Manager, I get to lead our new Explorer Program, which is focused on near-term "problem statements" submitted by our Operations and Shared Services partners. I developed this program to give our colleagues a single place to research the many already-documented solutions to known problems, and give guidance on which is the preferred solution for some of the more common ones.

In the event that we don't already have a solution, we've built a tool for submitting their problem statements, which I review along with our Explorer Committee to identify which problems need to be incorporated into our incubation cycle. I'm ramping up to incorporate 5-6 concurrent projects in the incubation phase, during which I work with project teams to establish KPIs, set timelines for evaluation, perform regular check-ins, and work with them to evaluate how well different solutions will scale with the company.

Along with managing this new program, I continue to collaborate with my Solutions Manager colleagues in supporting several existing product lines, and keep myself particularly involved in helping those products interface with our Integrations team, building out proof-of-concept integrations to help get them deployed in our production tools

As a Senior Solutions Manager for Swinerton, I managed products for our operations groups across the country, and in various market sectors. In this role, I focused on helping them manage their risk and stay efficient, by ensuring they had the technology and tools that they needed, and weren't burdened by solutions and processes that tied them down. In particular, I focused on tools such as time/quantity tracking, craft/admin resource management, 360 photo capture, UAVs, and our digital adoption platform.

In this role I supported divisions in Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, San Francisco, as well as our divisions in southern California, Texas, and Colorado. I provided solutions and training for field construction technologies, such as BIM 360 Field, Bluebeam, Sharefile, Box, PlanGrid, and mobile solutions, as well.

• Built our internal bid management system using distributed documents in the Google platform, allowing 30+ bid managers to collaborate on large scale bids in our Sacramento Office, which then spread to other divisions
• Interpreted architectural designs and engineering plans for systems, new construction and existing facilities.
• Carefully analyzed completed projects and studies for compliance with established budgets and policies.
• Displayed tact and discretion when working with confidential project contracts and contractor information.
• Worked in all of Swinerton's vertical markets, including high-rise, tenant improvement, solar construction, special projects, healthcare, data centers, and education projects

• I oversaw electrical, low voltage, and audio-visual trades with the Sacramento Division of Swinerton Builders.
• Managed subcontractors across the project life cycle
• Assessed scope and requirements to assist with project buyout.
• Oversaw worksite construction to coordinate with supervisors and guide projects.
• Reviewed contractor proposals to determine favorable partnerships for on-time and under-budget project completion.

As an union IBEW low-voltage apprentice, journeyman, and foreman, I oversaw and performed installation, service, and maintenance of any and all communications systems, with a specialty in nursecall and audio/visual systems.

• I taught students throughout a 3-to-5-year apprenticeship for the low-voltage and inside wireman apprenticeships.
• I taught all manner of low-voltage classes and fire alarm instruction.
• Tracked student progress, frequently checking in with struggling students and identifying root causes of problems.
• Applied various teaching aids to minimize learning gaps and instruct and motivate students.
• Evaluated and revised lesson plans and course content to achieve student-centered learning.
• Reviewed class and student records to identify improvement opportunities.
