Assisted the head Junior Varsity coach in creating practice plans and game strategies, as well as analyzing games to identify areas of improvement. I also provided individualized instruction for team members, focusing on skill development and technique refinement. Additionally, I assisted with physical tasks such as preparing and cleaning up equipment before and after daily practices.
Tutored students in grades 4th-8th in subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, and Spanish. I provided one-on-one tutoring sessions with students to complete homework assignments, prepare for upcoming tests, and correct academic mistakes. I also taught students with helpful study habits and test taking strategies.
I have trained as a patient care technician and worked within several different units at McLaren Hospital. I have assisted with patient transfers, recording vital signs, observing EKG and X-ray recordings, therapeutic services, and preparing medical equipment. I have also networked and developed connections with the hospital faculty to help me advance in my future career.
Taught Spanish lessons to 5th grade classes once a month by creating fun, engaging activities related to language and culture. Through the use of interactive teaching methods and hands-on activities, I was able to form connections with the students while simultaneously promoting Chippewa Valley Schools' language electives.
