As a Safety Specialist at Amazon, I promote and maintain a positive safety culture by ensuring compliance with company safety standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. I conduct audits and inspections of equipment, processes, and work areas to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. I provide first aid assessment and treatment for associates with work-related and non-work-related injuries, ensuring accurate documentation and appropriate follow-up care. Additionally, I coach and train associates on safe work practices, supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce incidents and enhance overall workplace safety.

• Worked as a research assistant during my undergraduate years at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University to conduct inquiries in cancer research. I was able to provide research support by establishing and maintaining protocols, maintaining lab organization, and conducting literary searches.
