I have been a Dialysis Nurse for 26 years. During this time I have spent 18 years managing Dialysis Clinics. Three of these clinics provided both CCPD and CAPD services. These leadership roles allowed me the opportunity o learn how to develop teams with high standards for quality care and a commitment to our patients and to each other. The teams I have mentored were able to improve and maintain quality scores in both our Dialysis Facility Compare Reports and CMS Performance Score Reports.
As Clinic Manager of the Las Vegas Facility, I was responsible for supporting and driving FMS quality standards through meeting all ESRD regulatory requirement. Also accountable for outstanding quality of patient care, as defined by FMS quality goals, by working with the Medical Director, Regional Quality Manager and Vice-President of Quality. I was also responsible to implement appropriate training according to FMS policy, insure training th ensure ongoing compliance with all FMS management initiates. This included accountability for compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
