I have been a nurse for a total of 22 years. For 2 years I was an LPN and bridged to RN in 2004. I went to work in the emergency department straight out of school. I had some great teachers there and stayed a total of 10 years. After my ER experience, I went in a whole other direction. I worked as a hospice case manager for 2 years. After the ER and hospice I went to a nursing home and worked with geriatric patients for 5 years. I went back to the ER for 1 more year and then to a surgery center where I worked as the pre admission testing nurse. I was also a nurse navigator and CCC back at the nursing home. I am looking to try something new. Go down a new path.
