One of my Manager's told me once I had a passion for Safety.  I do.  I also have a passion for the complete Public Transportation Field.  I have been lucky enough to get the experience of the full field of Public Transportation, starting with being hired on as a Paratransit Operator and growing from there, Transit Operator, first female Commuter Driver in Santa Clarita.   Being hired on as a Trainer 4 months after I became an Operator and being promoted a year and a half later to Field Supervisor but continuing my love for training new hires, I developed my skills.  I have handled  every phase  of Transportation, just short of the title.  I have done my job well and I only know this due to the response of my Operators.  Even after I have left a location, I still receive calls from Operators thanking me for all the training and advice.  Access is the last frontier for me to be a whole in the field of Public Transportation.
