I am a Licensed Practical Nurse with 20 years clinical experience. I graduated with honors in 2004 from Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College. I have a great passion for working with patients of all age groups, as well as building a relationship with providers and family members.

I have gained extensive clinical skills during my career. My experience includes updating and collecting information from patients’ electronic health records, providing education on diseases and disease process, medication reconciliation, chart documentation, phlebotomy, and patient assessments. I have worked with Palmetto GBA / Blue Cross Blue Shield performing medical reviews for Home Health Claims. I am familiar with CMS guidelines for face to face and clinical documentation requirements. I currently have 4 years experience as a HEDIS nurse with Change Healthcare / Optum, collecting data from EHR for HEDIS. Previously worked remotely with Palmetto GBA performing medical reviews, as well as SC DHEC performing COVID Case Investigations. My skills include, but are not limited to; collection of specimens, wound treatments and wound cultures, IV therapy, venipunctures, data collection, disease education and medication reconciliation.
