During the time of BBBS, I worked with one of the mothers to hold a fundraiser to benefit those less fortunate in our community. I managed the entries and funds for a local bowling tournament, paying the top 3 teams small prizes. With the net proceeds, we were able to gift multiple schools (Head Start), women's shelters, and other organizations with personalized (age/gender appropriate) gifts.
