New graduate in nurse practitioner with focused education and practice in adult gerontology acute care. As part of my dedication to advancing my nursing career through higher education and specialized training, my focus is committed to provide exceptional patient care and expanding my scope of practice as a nurse practitioner. • 670 Hours of acute care clinical hours.
• 505 hours spent assessing, evaluating and treating patients with hospitalist MD & APRN, (Greenville & Hillcrest locations).
• 165 hours spent in the critical care areas with critical care 2 team (Greenville location).
• Cared for individuals in the phase of life ranging from 19 and up with a variety of acute and chronic conditions.
• During time spent with hospitalist was able to care for up to 5 patients independently with minimal assistance, and with critical care was able to care for 2-3 patients with assistances.
• Valuable rounding and collaboration experience was obtained with physicians and APRNs.
• Procedures performed with direct supervision during clinical hours included: Arterial line placement x3, CVC line placement x3, Hemodialysis line x 4, and Endotracheal intubations x 3.
• Direct observation of Cardiac stress test x 2, and Chest tube placement x 1.
