The last 4 months I have learned the job many different ways from my mentors. I understand the correct and incorrect ways of doing my job. Learning from different teams has allowed me to create my own system of knowing when separate being easy going and being assertive. Being apart of Camp Roberts Security forces let me create my own bond with the regular personnel that I see come through the gate everyday.

• Monitored premises to ensure safety and security of property and personnel.
• Conducted regular patrols to identify potential hazards or irregularities.
• Responded promptly to alarms and incidents, following established protocols.
• Engaged with staff and visitors to promote a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring security protocols were followed.
• Responded quickly to emergency situations to assess and deflect issues.

The M-day side of the military showed me how to be apart of a team and be a hard worker. I have become confident in following and succeeding at every task that was thrown my way.

• Diagnosed and repaired mechanical issues on various wheeled vehicles, ensuring operational readiness.
• Enhanced vehicle performance by conducting routine maintenance and repairs on various wheeled vehicles.
• Troubleshot vehicle faults and successfully operated heavy diesel equipment.

Becoming familiar with my customs and courtesies outside of my one weekend a month helped me progress above my peers.
