Operation Inherent Resolve (Iraq & Syria)

As a principal staff officer and direct report to the senior U.S. commander in Iraq, planned and implemented combat operations and Iraqi Security Force development to enable the defeat of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
Designed and implemented the campaign that defeated enemy forces in Ramadi and Baiji and cut the Sinjar logistics corridor, setting the conditions for the seizure of Mosul and the destruction of ISIS in Iraq. Directly contributed to the destruction of 8,100+ enemy fighters.
Identified the requirement and initiated programming for the removal of approximately 15,000 improvised explosive devices planted in Ramadi by ISIS, enabling the safe return of over 225,000 refugees to their homes within 18 months.
Implemented training standards, metrics, reporting, and verification across a broad range of Coalition training partners to improve and standardize Iraqi Army training.
Led 112 U.S. and Coalition officers and 80 enlisted personnel, providing state-of-the-art, round-the-clock planning, intelligence, and strike support, as well as other exquisite capabilities.
