In High-school I was in JROTC to learn about how to work in a team and how to be a good leader, a month before I graduated I worked at Albertsons to get into the Workforce. I was hired as a Courtesy Clerk, I cleaned bathrooms, took out trash, collected shopping carts, helped cashiers bag, and worked with with other Courtesy Clerks to organize tasks.
Then the opportunity working as a cashier opened up to me and I took it. In that position I scanned customers groceries, scanned coupons, checked out customers, and cleaned my workplace frequently.
I was offered the position to become a Deli Clerk and i decided to take the opportunity. as a Deli Clerk I opened up the Deli getting getting all cooking equipment running, preparing Deli sides, cutting meats and cheese on a deli slicer, serving deli entrees to customers, and closing down the Deli which meant
shutting down cooking equipment, and cleaning equipment, surfaces, and floors.
When I giving the opportunity to work at Magpul i decided to take on the opportunity. The company is under a military contract so that being said i cannot explain my tasks in this field.
then a fantastic opportunity to work at Knife River came up so i decided to pursue it. i was hired as a Concrete Laborer which entailed spreading base with shovels, shoveling concrete into curb or sidewalks, clean tools, organized form and tool trailers, working with Finishers to place materials where they need to be, and execute any tasks my Foreman asks me to do,
my Foreman gave me the opportunity to become a skilled Laborer which i decided to pursue, in this career i did all the same tasks as a Laborer, but it also included setting forms, using measurements to set forms in there positions, finishing wet concrete using finishing tools, using heavy equipment to help with labor tasks, and fullfill instructions givin from the Foreman.
