  • Extensive troubleshooting and rework of many civilian and military products at CRANE.
  • Ability to read schematics, understand electrical theory, and troubleshoot on the component level.
  • Experience troubleshooting, repairing and calibrating delicate mechanical and electromechanical systems
  • Worked with landing gear control interface units, proximity sensing electronics units, power supplies, axle remote data concentrators, Fuel flow indicators, fuel flow electronics units, Engine Diagnostic Units, Brake temperature control units, Brake temperature compensation modules and many others.
  • Trained and been trained by other colleagues on many of our products.
  • Have IPC CIS 7711/7721 certification and have extensive rework experience, through hole, SMT, laminate repair, trace repair

  • Worked with tech writers to re-write and improve old or incorrect test procedures
  • Received an excellence award for repair of the 38-504-02 ATE for testing 8-949 units. Many of these units had been on hold for 4 months. Aero Lab was unable to repair this and was about to scrap it.

  • Calibration delegate responsible for collecting all equipment due for calibration and returning calibrated equipment
  • Experience with automated and manual testing using new test equipment running lab view, ALIAS test software and legacy equipment running Unix, DOS, Norton Commander, Microsoft 3.1
  • Practice safe work habits as established by OSHA and Crane policy
  • Always follow 5s policy and maintain an orderly work space.
